Editing a task

Edit a task's fields and settings, and learn how owners can manually close a task.

A task is created any time a user is assigned an asset in Joy. Put simply, a task represents something a user needs to do. You can quickly see a list of all of your tasks and the tasks you've assigned to others from the Tasks page.
