Managing pages
How to add, rename, move, and delete pages in a FlexDoc.
Within the FlexDoc Editor, you can use pages to organize and group your content, similar to chapters in a book. All the pages in your FlexDoc are listed in a tree menu, allowing you to easily scan your content and navigate quickly.
If you make any changes to your FlexDoc's pages, be sure to publish the FlexDoc so that users can see your updates.
Adding a page
Every new FlexDoc automatically includes a blank page so that you can start adding content right away.
To add a new page, click the icon in the tree menu. A new untitled page is added. Give the page a meaningful name.
Nesting pages
You can add a page within another page, giving you greater flexibility in how you organize your content. This is called "nesting pages". For example, in an HR Policy FlexDoc, you can create a page called "Benefits" that covers your employee benefit package in general, with sub-pages for health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
To add a sub-page, click the More Actions icon beside the page and select Add sub-page.
You can also hover over a page and click the icon beside it to add a sub-page.
You can organize your pages into a hierarchy, up to 6 levels deep.
Renaming a page
A clear page name helps others find what they need when they scan the tree menu.
Click the More Actions icon beside the page and select Rename.
The page name becomes editable in the tree menu.
Enter a new name and press Enter on your keyboard.
The new page name is saved.
Deleting a page
To remove a page, click the More Actions icon beside the page and select Delete.
When you delete a page, its content and any sub-pages are also deleted. If the FlexDoc was published while the page existed, you can recover it from the version history. Otherwise, the content is permanently lost.
