Frequently asked questions

Does JoySuite store my Slack messages?

No. JoySuite connects to Slack via OAuth and queries messages in real-time. Your conversations stay in Slack. JoySuite reads them from Slack when you ask a question and doesn't keep a copy.

Which channels can JoySuite access?

JoySuite can access public channels and private channels where it's been invited. It respects Slack's permission model.

Can I limit which channels JoySuite can access?

Yes. During setup, you choose which channels to include. Private channels require explicit invitation.

How long does setup take?

About 5 minutes. Add JoySuite to your workspace via OAuth and select which channels to include.

Can all team members use this?

Yes. The integration is available to all JoySuite users, and each query respects Slack channel permissions.
