Read Access

Read-only is the default for every connector. Your assistants can search and retrieve data, and they change nothing in ClickUp unless your IT team turns on write access.

Frequently asked questions

Does JoySuite store my ClickUp data?

No. JoySuite connects to ClickUp via OAuth and queries data in real-time. Your workspace data stays in ClickUp. JoySuite reads it from ClickUp when you ask a question and doesn't keep a copy.

What ClickUp permissions does JoySuite need?

Read access by default for searching tasks, docs, and spaces. Write access is optional for creating and updating tasks.

Can I limit which spaces JoySuite can access?

Yes. Configure which spaces and folders are available to your AI assistants during setup.

How long does setup take?

About 5 minutes. Click connect, authorize via OAuth, configure settings, and start querying your workspace.

Does this work with ClickUp Docs and Whiteboards?

Yes. JoySuite can search ClickUp Docs content alongside tasks and other workspace data.
